Sheet Music Scanner has been developed by David Zemsky, a software developer with a passion for the classical guitar.

“Some time ago, I bought new sheet music, but it was too difficult to play just by sight-reading. I thought it would be nice to know what it sounded like, before I started learning it.

When I searched for sheet music scanners, I found a few expensive desktop apps that didn’t work with camera photos, and that was it.

You know the ad….’There’s an app for that!’ Well, in my case there wasn’t any app for what I needed. So after thorough research, I decided to write the app myself. And I’m happy to be able to share the results with you now.
